Euler = Oiler but Euclid = Yookleed, WTF?!?
Διαβάζω, και λυτρώνομαι, στη σελίδα 147 του Concrete Mathematics (Graham, Knuth, Patashnik):
Why is Euler pronounced “Oiler” when Euclid is “Yooklid”?
Το οποίο βέβαια δεν είναι και το ιδανικότερο, αλλά όπως και να το κάνεις, μια δικαίωση τη νιώθεις!
